Robert Mujagic is a native of Stuttgart, Germany who joined the culinary business when he was only 17 years old. He started his apprentice ship, as chef, at a small gault millau & michelin star, rated fine dining restaurant. With over 23 years of extensive experience, he is now starting as Executive Chef for Tongsai Bay Resort in Koh Samui.
During his journey to become an executive chef, Robert had the opportunity to work in many different countries, e.g. Germany, Russia, Maldives, Croatia, Turkey and Thailand. Also employed for over 3 years on luxury cruise liners and sailing around the world twice, taught him about many different cultures and cooking techniques.
Extremely important for him are all the interesting people he met all over the world and working for great employers like Hilton International, Conrad, Maritim or Starwood, was always connected with gaining a lot of experience. Working at dream destinations, like Conrad Maldives Ithaa Underwater Restaurant, as executive chef and serving his creations to amazing people, makes his life complete.
Moving to Thailand almost 5 years ago made a dream come true and joining Tongsai Bay Resort gives him a new opportunity. Feeling like he has the freedom to express himself to the fullest and being creative and try a lot of new creations, makes him feel home away from home. Experiencing the warm hearted people of Thailand and the amazing tastes of the country makes Robert want to tell all the chefs in the world to come and experience it.
